Hello Pearl Girls,
WHAT A FUN WEEK IN NYC! I am still beaming from ear to ear reflecting on what an incredibly wonderful time we all shared at Pearl Preview. You know it was a great party when your face still hurts from smiling! For everyone who couldn't be there in person—we missed you dearly. I am sending big hugs and cheersing you all from afar. This preview gave me the wonderfully rare chance to relive just how much I love the new Fall Collection. Let me explain: in the design world we always spend our time two seasons ahead, on to Holiday while it's barely Spring! This preview, though, being in the moment with you all and experiencing the Fall collection together—and with you for the first time—it was such a special moment for me as a designer. As many of you saw, I had to be peeled away from the presentation because every look that came out was just too. dang. good!! As always, I just have to say how incredibly proud I am of you all, what we've built here at Pearl, and what we continue to build. I love this community, I love the product, and I love seeing how we keep soaring. Best of luck to those starting shows this week—YAY FALL!!

The Fabulous Summer Supper Club:
From Farm to (Dancing on the) Table
Oh what a NIGHT! Our fearless founder opened up her beautiful Tribeca home for an iconic fête in celebration of a record-breaking Spring/Summer season.
In her element, Lela hosted "Entertaining 101"—with a few *very* special guests to join in the fun! Chef Edward Rodwell of Amuse Bouche NYC prepared a wonderful dinner and gave tips on making magic with the absolute freshest ingredients.
For everyone who couldn't get enough of the showstopping flowers all Preview weekend, the brilliant foral designer Maria Ligasen (of FLORAVOCA) gave a special cocktail hour arrangement lesson where she showed our Supper Club attendees how to put together the perfect poseys—from tabletop to nosegay.
A giant Pearl CONGRATULATIONS to all of our Pearl Girls who set their sights high and achieved this milestone. Stay tuned for more details on the next Supper Club goal and location. We promise...you won't want to miss out!
Kicking Off Preview
With A Cheers!
We always love kicking off our Official Pearl Preview festivities in typical Lela fashion: glamorous drinks + dinner at The Standard High Line! The mood—and the light—couldn't have been more golden, made even brighter by shining star/Lela's BFF/Ultimate Pearl Girl Jenna Bush Hager, who joined Lela behind the bar, co-hosting a very entertaining "cocktail class" to shake things up. We'll cheers to that!
After the sun set on the Hudson River, we all reveled in being together at a fantastic seated dinner, giving us ample time to catch up, laugh, and simply enjoy each other's fabulously dressed company. A perfect night with the incredible Pearl community.

So many STUNNING looks from Fall 2022! On a gorgeous day in the Meatpacking District, the ever-stylish and knowledgeable Betsy Pepe presented over EIGHTY looks from the new Fall collection. From fit details to the history behind some of the exclusive fabrics and patterns, palette inspiration, and visionary outfit pairings, Betsy loved sharing the collection details with you all...but even more, we loved hearing which pieces made you ooooh and ahhhhh and can't wait to hear what your clients fawn over. There are always some surprise sleeper hits! Thank you Betsy for another fabulous presentation—giving all of you fabulous Stylists the confidence AND competence to sell, sell, sell FALL!

Pearls Of Wisdom With Betsy Pepe
Fall arguably requires the most strategy when it comes to wardrobe planning. Chillier temps and crisp evenings make dressing well a matter of both practicality AND style. Add on the influx of fabulous events—weddings, holidays, game days, date nights—that fill our fall calendars and it can be hard to know what to wear... ENTER THE NEW COLLECTION! Who can say no to this season's pointelle knit dress and olive leather skirt? These pieces are both iconic year-round staples and perfect for transitioning into fall. I love this messaging for selling fall in the midst of peak summer: your clients will love fabulous (and versatile) wardrobe essentials that can take them from season to season and be loved for forever.

Pearls Of Wisdom With Betsy Pepe
Kathy and Sherry had a great spring show and needed 10 additional customers during their summer show to qualify for Supper Club. Pearl HQ sent a Summer Call list of 65 clients who had placed an order in 2021 but not yet in 2022 and tey were successful in getting 19 additional clients in their summer show and went 9 over goal! Their secret? Focused effort and some DARLING cocktail kit drop offs to 20 key clients who hadn’t shopped yet. The adorable signature summer-palette cocktail kit (pictured here) featured the season's Seashell Spritz recipe and an invitation to the Summer Show. Of the 20 clients who received the cocktail kids 11 shopped in person! Three had not been in since Spring 21; eight had not been in since FW21, and one was a first time client they've been courting for many seasons (it was the cocktail kit did the trick!). One of the clients who received the cocktail kit even posted it on her Instagram story sharing how much she loved Pearl. During the summer show they dropped off samples at the homes of two potential clients who couldn’t make it in and picked up the samples the next morning—both bought. All in all this team added 15 clients to their base in Baton Rouge!
