As a family, we have been going out to Jackson Hole for over 15 years now. I have always loved the West with its majestic scenery, so it is no secret that Wyoming remains one of my favorite places to spend time. As much as I love the winters in Jackson Hole (the skiing is some of the best in the country), I am partial to the summer months. With an endless amount of activities to fill up your day, my favorite is spending time in the great outdoors and enjoying some of the most beautiful scenery around. From biking the Old Pass Road, hiking Sleeping Indian or Granite Canyon, or floating on the Snake River there is never a dull day! The town of Jackson is equally entertaining;Cayuse has the most unique collection of Western/Americana turquoise, silver, and hand tooled leather. There is also amazing food that celebrates both the old west as well as newer transplants (Snake River Grill, Persephone Bakery, Teton Thai, and The Indian). One “must-see” watering hole is the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar. Here you will find real cowboys and real two-stepping…dancing shoes required!
